Can I afford to live at Vriendschap Village?

The costs associated with Vriendschap Village are surprisingly affordable.  A fee of five hundred dollars allows you to reserve an apartment.  When you move in, the reservation fee becomes your security deposit.   Monthly rental fees are based on the size of the apartment.  Utilities are included in your monthly rental fee; however, there is a monthly fuel surcharge.  Underground garage space is forty-five dollars per month.  There is no buy-in or community fee at Vriendschap Village.

What makes Vriendschap Village unique?

The Independent Living residents at Vriendschap Village enjoy retirement living in modern, spacious apartments, complemented with a full spectrum of activities and services.  In addition to the planned activities, residents enjoy:  coffee and conversation in the café, computer instruction in the library, card games in the activity room, functional fitness programs in the exercise room, the option of a delicious noon meal.

Can I age in place?

If you are an Independent Living resident and your health needs change, you have priority as a potential Assisted Living resident.

May I bring my pet to my new home in Vriendschap Village?

Pets are allowed at Vriendschap Village.  There are size requirements as well as an additional pet deposit.  There are also guidelines regarding the pet owners responsibilities and pet behavior.
